6/17 @ Eagle Grove JVR/JV doubleheader

JVR 3-3 T (1-1-1)

The Jaguar Junior varsity reserve kicked things off in the double header.  Caden Cramer threw four good innings allowing one run and with bases loaded in the second would strike out the batter to close up the threat. Caden Milham would pitch the last two innings.  Allowing them to score two to tie the game up but threw a five pitch inning getting them one,  two,  three for the quick half inning.  The Jags wanted more runs but the Eagle pitcher was on point. The Jags would score three in the fourth inning after Colton Haug singled,  Caden Cramer would hit a huge double scoring Haug. Cramer would later score on a wild pitch.  Landon Vote would walk and eventually score after an errant throw by the catcher.  The Jags had runners on base but couldn't get them across while also had a few plays in the last inning that went another way that could have sealed the game but those are the breaks. Good to see our JVR squad on the field again after a long time off.

JV: 10-1 (7-2-1)

There was plenty of good things to go around for the Jaguar Junior varsity squad as they finished up the second game of the jv doubleheader. Starting things off with lead off Colin Johnson who was 2-3 with a double and single.  Scoring once and driving in one RBI. Caden Kaltschnee would have a hit driving in Colin and walk two times, scoring once. Evan Bintz hit the ball hard at third reaching on an error which eventually he scored on.  Kolton Ollinger would score twice with a walk and a single. Ayden Bintz would walk twice with courtesy runner Colton Haug scoring twice. Dawson Tuel finished with a single but reached base all three times, scoring twice. Carver Peterson would have himself a night going 2-3 with two doubles and 3 RBI's. Conner Rentz took the mound for the Jags,  striking out four batters over three innings while Landon Vote would come in for relief in the last inning striking out one batter and getting out of a jam with a line drive to second base with doubles up the runner at second.  Go way to end the game and nice night of baseball for the two young squads.
