6/23 S.C.C. 3-12 L (5-12) (3-6)

The Titans from South Central came in and stole a home game from the Jags to end the week of action on the diamond. The Jags had beaten the Titans earlier in the year but this one was for conference and the Jags just didn’t play their best. The Titans scored three in the first followed by five more in the second to give them the commanding lead. Hane Sorenson started the game but didn’t have his best stuff as they jumped on him early. Hane was replaced with Gauge Jones who had some control issues as well hitting four batters and walking two but only allowing one hit which unfortunately scored three runners in his 2.2 innings of work. Tyler Jondle would finish the game out for the Jaguars. The Jags mustered only three hits on the night. Brady Hanson would double while Justin Loseke and Tyler Jondle would add a hit each. Brady and Loseke’s hits would drive in runners. The Jags had some chances to capitalize but just couldn’t get the big hit they needed.

JV ACTION: 10-9 W (9-5-3)

The Jaguar JV team would win a nice come from behind win to close out the week. It was Gavin Weier and Elias Field once again getting the win for the Jaguars. As Gavin would hit the ball hard scoring Elias to secure the victory for the Jags. Caden Kaltschnee would throw a good ball game with some errors compounding the score. Ethan Tucker would come in and throw the rest of the game throwing admirably. The Jags hits were scattered but Ethan Ackerson would double and the big hit coming from Gavin Weier in the final inning of action to drive in Elias to win the game. This marks the second time Gavin has drove in Elias to win a game this year. They might need to work on their celebration afterwards though.
