Jaguar Baseball 6-3 @ West Bend 5-4 W (2-4) (conference 2-1)

The first game of the week saw the Jaguars Travel to Gilmore city to take on West Bend

Wolverines. It was Hane Sorenson's night as he threw the complete game seven innings. Hane walked three, striking out five and gave up 3 earned runs. The defense was stellar for the senior hurler. The defense had one error in the game and set up the Jaguars 2-1 in conference. Hits for the Jags were led by catcher Mason Bahr going 3-4, wiith 2 doubles and a single. Logan Jaeschke was right behind him with two hits, a double and single. Rounding out the hits were Kaden holder, Gauge Jones, Tyler Jondle each adding a hit. Freshman Casey Hanson had a day including two hits and making the final out of the game, an unassisted very hard hit ball that he snuggled up for the final out and led the Jags to the win. Hane Sorenson had a night at the plate also scoring the go ahead run in the sixth inning scoring Casey Hanson. Huge conference win for the Jags as they go 2-1 in conference.


JV action 11-5 W (4-1-1)

The JV squad started the night off right getting a nice win. A four run inning lead into a five run inning for the Wolverines. But the Jags came back and got the lead to never relinquish it. Pitching for the Jags was Mason Bahr, Logan Jaeschke and Kolton Ollinger. Logan threw well striking out three batters in two innings. Kolton had one strike out and no runs given up. Colin Johnson had two hits, both singles. Karson Roper had a double and single. Lenix Allbee had a huge two run home run. That cleared the fence with the huge slam. Jaxon Meyer didn't see any pitches and walked twice with a hit by pitch. He would score twice however. Lincoln Akins had himself another day. Going 2-3 at the plate with two singles. Kolton Ollinger and Caden Kaltschnee would round out the hits for the young Jag JV team.
