6/2 vs. Humboldt 14-3 L (1-5)

The always solid Humboldt Wildcats came to Dayton for the third game of a four game week. The Jaguars sent out Colby Russell who threw pretty well on the mound for the Jaguars. Allowing only five runs through the 5th inning but it was the Wildcats putting up a 9 spot in the 6th to allow them to secure the win comfortably. Defense was much improved for the Jaguars in the contest but was a bit too much wildcats in the end. Jag bats have been improving this season with Jared Cloud having 2 hits going 2 for 3. Justin Loseke had the lone double from the jaguars along with a sac bunt. Kolson Kruse and Zack Miller rounded out the hits for the Jaguars.

JV Action: 15-0 L (0-5-1)

Gauge Jones threw some admirable innings but the Wildcats took advantage and hit the ball. Gavin Weier got his first taste of pitching action getting on the mound. Hits for the Jags started with Elias Field and Brady Hanson also recorded a hit on the first at bat of the game.
