6-23 @ Newell Fonda 0-10 L (6-9) (2-6 conference)

It was a rough start for the Jags as they started the week traveling to Newell Fonda. Pitcher Ryan Stewart started slow allowing four runs off walks and a hit by pitch but would settle in allowing two runs over the next four innings. Lenix Allbee would relieve Ryan in the fifth getting the last out but the Mustangs would get some walks and hit batters in the sixth which allowed them to secure the ten run rule. Walks and hit by pitches continued to hurt the Jags as the Mustangs only had two hits in the contest. Offensively Casey Hanson and Tyler Jondle each added a hit as did shortstop Karson Roper. The Jags hit the ball hard all night but right at guys and left six runners on base once again not being able to get the big hit when they needed one. A rough ending to a game the Jags wish they could have back but they will look to rebound with three home games coming up this week, if the weather holds.

JV: 12-0 W (8-2-1)

The JV squad had themselves a day. Playing with a three run rule the Jags accomplished that every inning but one. There was plenty of offense and walks. Colin Johnson started off the game with a single then Caden Kaltschnee would hit a double to score Johnson. Kolton Ollinger would single and drive in Evan Bintz after he reached on an error. Ayden Bintz would walk twice and so did pitcher Landon Vote but Vote would add a single in the game also. Conner Rentz would double and walk. Evan Bintz, Kolton Ollinger and Caden Kaltschnee would all walk with bases loaded allowing them to earn an RBI. Caden Cramer also walked and scored while Jake Paterson would courtesy run and score twice. On the mound Landon Vote was phenomenal striking out six batters commanding the strike zone and allowing his defense to help. They only had one hit on Vote and reaching his pitch count Caden Kaltschnee would relieve him in the fifth striking out three batters after Vote had two already on him. Then getting a dribble to the mound for the final out. Nice way to start the week off with a good win!
