SVSB vs. Sioux Central

The Southeast Valley softball team fell to the Rebels from Sioux Central on June 4th in Harcourt.

It was a tough battle through six innings with the score stuck at zero for both sides despite base runners reaching in all but one inning. Chloe Lambert showed up and showed out in the circle, throwing a complete game and striking out eight in the process.

Unfortunately the Rebels would score one run in the sixth and seven innings to put the Jags down by two. The girls didn’t go down without out a fight, earning at least one base runner in all but one inning of the contest, but costly base running errors would cost the Jaguars two runs of their own.

With the loss the Southeast Valley softball team holds a record of four wins and three losses and sits 0-1 in conference play.
