JV Stats/Articles - Week 3:

Monday June 9: vs West Bend Mallard (Home)

The JV team did not play because it was Varsity only. West Bend Mallard didn't have enough players for a JV team.

Wednesday June 11: vs Emmetsburg (Away)

The Jags traveled to Emmetsburg to play, but JV ended up being canceled due to weather.

Thursday June 12: vs Clarion Goldfield-Dows (Away)

The Jags were supposed to travel to Clarion Goldfield-Dows for an away game, but the game was canceled.

Friday June 13: vs Alta Aurelia (Away)

The Jags traveled to Alta Aurelia on Friday. While on offense, Goldie Davis made it on base 2 times - once with a hard hit to right field and by being walked, she also scored in the 1st inning; Sage Lane had a hard hit to center/left field and had an RBI (Goldie); Jacey Carlson made in on base by being walked and scored in the 4th inning; Chloe Richardson made it on base 2 times - once with a hit and the other by being walked, she also scored in the 2nd inning; Jaylon Zika and Toviah Wheeling both made it on base by getting hit by the ball; Taylor Goeders made it on base 2 times by being walked and scored both times, Devon Olson, Addy Lundquist, Peyton Lockner, and Jocelyn Wheeling all made it on base by being walked. While on defense, Karly Rae Smith had 3 strikeouts and an out from the mound to 1st base, Devon Olson had an unassisted out and 2 outs throwing from shortstop to 1st base, and Addy Lundquist had an out throwing from the mound to 1st base. The Jags fought hard but lost to Alta Aurelia 10-5.

This upcoming week (June 16-June 20), the Jags will have 1 home game (June 16 vs Pocahontas) and 2 away games (June 17 vs Eagle Grove and June 18 vs East Sac County).
