SV - JV SB July 6

On Monday, the JV softball girls finished their season against Webster City. It was a tough match-up with really good defense on both sides. The Lynx started off scoring 2 runs in the first inning, but the Jags answered back - also scoring 2 runs. Camryn Lane came up big as the first batter, hitting a triple, and later scored on a past ball. Anna Corell had smart base running to also score in the first inning. Jags stayed tough on defense until the 4th inning, allowing a run to score on errors. We were unable to respond on offense and ended up losing the match-up 2-3.

The girls improved a lot this summer while working hard and having fun. It has been fun watching them grow as people and athletes over the past two summers. I have loved my time getting to know them and am thankful I had the opportunity to be involved with the Southeast Valley softball program.
