JV Stats/Articles - Week 1:

Wednesday May 28: vs Humboldt (Home)

The JV team had their season opener against Humboldt. While on offense, Peyton Lockner, Taylor Goeders, Goldie Davis, Chloe Richardson, and Meia Hefley all got on base with a single; while Kenslie Nolte got on with a solid double. While on offense, Kinslie Nolte (shortstop) had 2 outs throwing to 1st base, Peyton Lockner (3rd base) had 3 outs throwing to 1st base, Taylor Goeders (catcher) had an out on a steal to second, Jacey Carlson (2nd base) had 2 outs throwing to 1st base, Addy Lundquist (pitcher) had 1 out throwing to 1st base, and Danielle Bethel had an unassisted out in center field. Unfortunately, the Jaguars lost their home opener to Humboldt 1-12.

Thursday May 29: vs South Central Calhoun (Away)

The next night, the Jaguars traveled to Lytton to play against South Central Calhoun. On offense, Sage Lane, Kinslie Nolte, Jacey Carlson, Chloe Richardson, Addy Lundquist, and Taylor Goeders all got on base with a single hit; while Goldie Davis got on once with a solid double. Sage Lane and Jaylon Zika got on being hit by pitch; Taylor Goeders (2 times), Goldie Davis (1 time), Meia Hefley (2 times), Jacey Carlson (2 times), and Chloe Richardson (1 time) all got on base by getting walked. While on defense Addy Lundquist (pitcher) had 5 strikeouts and 3 outs throwing to 1st base, Kinslie Nolte (shortstop) had 3 outs throwing to 1st base, Sage Lane (1st base) had an unassisted out at 1st base, and Peyton Lockner had an unassisted out and 1 out throwing to 1st base. The JV Jaguars came back with a solid win over South Central Calhoun 14-5.

Friday May 30: vs West Central Valley (Away)

The JV Jaguars traveled to Stuart to play against West Central Valley. While on offense, Kinslie Nolte (2 times), Meia Hefley (2 times - 1 with a hit; 1 by error), Sage Lane (2 times), Jacey Carlson, and Goldie Davis all got on a base with a single hit; Goldie Davis, Jacey Carlson, Addy Lundquist, Peyton Lockner, and Jocelyn Wheeling all got on base by getting walked. On defense, Sage Lane (1st base) had an unassisted out, Kinslie Nolte (shortstop) had an unassisted out and 1 out thrown to 1st base; Peyton Lockner (3rd base) had an unassisted out and 1 out thrown to 1st base; and Jacey Carlson (2nd base) also had an unassisted out. Addy Lundquist (pitcher) also had 2 strikeouts). The JV Jaguars battled hard, but came up short to West Central Valley with a 6-7 loss.

This upcoming week (June 2-6), the Jaguars travel to Harlan Rogers (June 3 vs St. Eds) and Manson (June 6 vs Manson) for 2 away games and they play 2 home games (June 4 vs Sioux Central/June 5 vs Algona) in Harcourt.
