JV SB 6/26-6/29

On Monday, we started the week at Pocahontas. We had a tough night on offense and defense. Riley Carlson and Brooke Peterson had the only hits of the game for the Jaguars - both with singles. On defense, we started off slow, allowing all 7 runs to be scored in the first two innings. The jags lose, 0-7.

On Tuesday, we hosted Greene County. We took advantage of the errors made by the Rams when we were on offense. On defense, we had a great night with 1 error. Camryn Lane had a great night at short stop, making hard-hit balls look easy to field. Taylor Willardson had a great night at 1st base assisting in 12 outs. Jags win 3-2.

On Wednesday, we hosted Manson Northwest Webster. Riley Carlson led the way once again on offense with 2 singles and smart base running. Carlson scored both of our runs on the night. On defense, we stayed tough and looked sharp once again. Lily Reck had a great night knocking down balls at 3rd base. Jags fall short, 2-3.

We ended the week at Emmetsburg. Our bats started off hot, scoring 5 runs in the first inning. Brooke Peterson led the way on offense with one triple and one single. Taylor Kauffman hit 2 singles on the night. The E-Hawks capitalized on our errors on defense. Jaguars lose, 7-11.
