To kick off our last week of competition, some of the JVR girls competed in the freshmen tournament in Sioux Rapids. We had three matches in pool play, starting with OABCIG, where we lost both sets with scores of 15-21 and 12-21. Next up was a tough loss to MMC-RU: 13-21 and 19-21, and lastly was a victory over Sioux Central: 21-13 and 21-8.

The team was 88% efficient with their serves over the course of the three matches, and Kayla Field was the only 100% server for the night. Liberty Suchan led the team with 9 kills throughout the night, followed by 8 from Field and 5 from Trinity Anderson.

To finish off the JVR season, the team hosted GTRA and beat the Titans in two sets with scores of 21-9 and 21-8. The girls were 88% efficient with their serves throughout the night, where Liberty Suchan and Kayla Field were 100% from behind the serve line.

The team did a great job making individual and team growth throughout the season. We look forward to watching them continue to develop into competitive volleyball players!
