The JVR volleyball team only played on Monday night this week. On the

12th, we traveled back to Newell for a JVR quad where the girls were 1-2

for the night.

The team beat Emmetsburg in two games with scores of 25-14 and 25-18.

We put 96% of our serves into play that game and played well as a team.

Next the girls played Newell-Fonda and took them to three games. We

lost the first game 12-25, won the second 25-19, and lost the third 7-15.

Serving was 88% efficient against the Mustangs. Lastly, we faced East Sac

County and lost in two close games with scores of 23-25 and 20-25. Our

serves were 86% efficient during this game.

The girls showed great hustle and effort throughout the games Monday

night, but we will need to continue to work on communication moving

forward.
