On Monday 10/10, seven of our freshmen played a tournament at Sioux Central. Those in attendance were Camryn Lane, Jondyl Warland, Rylie Carlson, Maddie Farley, Lizzie Thompson, Rian Schlief, Taylor Willardson, and manager Laila Johnson. The girls beat Pocahontas, MMC-RU, and Spencer in two sets during pool play in order to play in the championship game against Ridge View. We lost 18-21 both sets. The girls played very aggressive through the evening, but our serves and back row coverage hurt us against a scrappy team in the final game. 

To finish off the JVR season, the team traveled to Graettinger and beat the Titans in two sets with scores of 25-9 and 25-8 The girls were 93% efficient with their serves throughout the night.

The team played very well this season and made many individual and team improvements! Each of the girls brought value to our team and helped us have a great season!
