8/31/25 Jags Compete in Gael Invitational
Fort Dodge, IA ~ The Jaguars competed in the St. Edmond Gael’s Invitational on Saturday, August 31st. The team went 1-4 on the day. They opened the day against St. Edmonds were defeated by the scores of 21-15, 8-21, 8-15. In the second match they lost to PAC (Pocahontas Area) by the scores of 18-21, 21-12 and 11-15. Aplington-Parkersburg won by the scores of 15-21 and 5-21 and Webster City won by the scores of 18-21 and 17-21. In the final match of the day, the Jaguars defeated Bishop Garrigan by the scores of 21-19 and 21-14.
For the day, the girls served 93.5% and had 18 ace serves with Rian Schlief having ten while Annabelle MacRunnel having eight. Schlief had 33 assists while Camryn Lane had 21. Offensively, Madelyn Farley had 24 kills that led the team. Riley Carlson had 15, Lizzie Thompson and Rian Schlief each had 13, Liberty Suchan had six and Mila Johnson had four.
After the first week of play the girls stand at 2-5 overall and will face the Mustangs of Newell-Fonda on Thursday, September 5th.
