West Bend, IA ~ The junior varsity volleyball squad played at West Bend on Monday, September 19th .

The team started the night off defeating the E-Hawks of Emmetsburg by the scores of 21-11 and 21-5. Highlights of that match was serving was over 95% and the team had 15 ace serves. The girls also averaged six kills per match. In the next match of the night, the team defeated the Raiders of East Sac by the scores of 21-18 and 21-14. The team once again served over 95% during that match. They also averaged nine kills and 13 saves a game. It was one of the best matches they played all year. In the third match of the night, the girls defeated the Wolverines of West Bend-Mallard 21-10 and 21-16. The girls only missed two serves during the match and were 97% efficient. They averaged six kills and 12

saves per game. The night ended with the girls playing the Titans of South Central Calhoun. They ended up losing that match by the scores of 7-21 and 16-21. The team served well at 98% but could not get their offense going. The girls only average three kills per game even though they averaged 11.5 saves per game. Playing Monday were: Autumn Jones-Popp, Mila Johnson, Erica Burger, Chloe Lambert, Anna Corell, Rian Schlief, Lauren Johnson, Maddie Farley, Baileigh Elmore, Lauren Songer, Abby Halligan, and Annabelle MacRunnel.
