Our JVR volleyball team had an eventful week. We kicked it off with a quad in Lake City on Monday, September 25th. Facing SCC first, we lost a tough game to three sets with scores of 25-15, 18-25, and 6-15, respectively. That same night we lost to Carroll Kuemper with scores of 12-25 and 5-25 and beat East Sac at 29-27 and 25-19. Throughout the three matches on Monday night, the team went 89% in serving, where Taylor Willardson, Mae Searcy, and Addie Larson were each 100% from behind the serve line.

We saw East Sac again the next night at home and lost in three sets: 21-25, 25-15, and 8-15. Though there was plenty to work on from this match, serving improved at 96% team-wide. Girls who were 100% with serves on Tuesday included Kayla Field, Taylor Willardson, Mae Searcy, and Trinity Anderson.

The Jaguars hosted Ogden on Thursday the 28th, and the JVR team won in two sets with scores of 21-19 and 21-15. There was major improvement in teamwork, aggressiveness, and hussle from the beginning of the week, which was very beneficial to these girls. Team serving was 89% against the Bulldogs with Liberty Suchan, Kalli Thompson, Mae Searcy, and Trinity Anderson at 100%.
