In what has become the theme of the current spring track & field season, it was a cold and windy night on Tuesday, April 19th for the Southeast Valley Coed meet. The Jaguar boys’ met the cold winds head on without flinching and walked away with the meet title. Southeast Valley’s 190 points to win the meet more than doubled up the 93 points scored by 2nd place Ogden. Third place Newell-Fonda scored 89 points.

“There is something different about winning a track meet that makes it fun. I am extremely proud with the lousy weather and all of the meet cancellations we have had this year that this team has kept the focus the way they have this year and show up every night to practice ready to get better regardless of the weather. It’s really shouldn’t be a surprise we competed this well in these conditions as we have practiced outside in the same conditions all spring,” commented Coach Nuss.

The Jaguars will compete at Manson on Tuesday, April 26th and in Lake City on Friday, April 29th before returning to Manson on Tuesday May 3rd for the Twin Lakes Conference meet already.
