The Southeast Valley Junior High Baseball program started the baseball season on the diamond with early success in their first 5 double-headers.  Both the 7th grade and 8th grade teams combined to go 9-1 in their first ten games of the season. The 7th grade team is 5-0 on the year, defeating Newell-Fonda 10-5, Greene County 15-0, SCC 15-0, Manson Northwest-Webster 15-0, and Ogden 14-4. The 8th grade team has defeated Newell-Fonda 3-2, Greene County 14-0, Manson Northwest-Webster 10-4, and Ogden 10-6. The only loss was a close contest with SCC with the 8th graders falling by the final score of 8-10.  


Excellent pitching and consistency on the mound has helped SV start off the season on the right track. Pitching for the Jaguars so far this season has been 7th graders Dawson Tuel, Conner Rentz, Noah Nelson, Landon Vote, and Caden Milham. For the 8th grade, pitching on the bump have been Karson Roper, Casey Hanson, Mason Bahr, Rafe Kilstrom, Spencer Peterson, and Kolton Ollinger. Catching for the Jaguars and behind the plate have been Rafe Kilstrom, Mason Bahr, Colton Hoag, Landon Vote, and Keelan Wellman.  


Notable hitting/scoring thus far this season include Dawson Tuel with 10 RBI's including one triple and four doubles in five games; and leading the way in runs scored is Conner Rentz and Jacob Patterson each scoring 10 runs. Spencer Peterson also has one triple recorded and Casey Hanson with two doubles on the season. Karson Roper is leading the 8th graders with 7 RBI's knocked in from the batter's box.  


The Junior High Baseball teams have 8 double-headers remaining on the season.
