7th Grade Add Two More Wins

The 7th Grade baseball team for Southeast Valley added two more wins this season, defeating Newell-Fonda by the score of 19-2 and Manson Northwest Webster by the score of 11-3. The games were held on Thursday, June 13th and on Monday, June 17th.  


The game vs. Newell-Fonda was played in Fonda and it was the most runs scored this season. Scoring for the Jaguars were Tucker Ollinger (4), Ethan Martin (3), Josiah Hefley (2), Colton Bachel, Carter Lloyd (2), August Akins, Kinnick Meyer, Brock Norine (2), Colden Mapel, and Jameson Bernau. Akins pitched a full three inning game, only allowing two hits and struck out four Mustang batters. Offensively, Ethan Martin led the way with 5 RBI total and earned a triple, double, and a single in his 3/4 at the bat.  


In the MNW game, Martin pitched four full innings, and Bachel finished the game off on the bump with one inning pitched. Martin and Bachel combined to strike out six total batters in a complete 5 inning ball game. Scoring in this game were Ollinger (3), Martin (2), Hefley, Bachel, Lloyd, Bernau, Akins, and Norine. Martin added 3 RBI, Bachel 1 RBI, Meyer 1 RBI, and Hefley 1 RBI.
