The Jim Kinyon(Roland Story) tournament expanded the field to 19 teams this year, therefore, many of the young Jag wrestlers competed in the Boone JV tournament allowing them to gain experience at their level. The Jim Kinyon tournament featured some high level talent and wrestling making it a very tough tournament to wrestle in. Seniors Kaden Holder and Grant Smith participated in the 19 field. Holder, who is nursing a sore shoulder, couldn't get his rhythm going and finished the day 0-2. Smith battled hard but lost his positioning in both of his matches he lost finishing 1-2. 

SV's young wrestlers gained some valuable experience wrestling in a competitive field at Boone. Colin Johnson, Kyeo Augustine, Nevein Larson, and Kyle Eastman finished as runner ups going 2-1 in a four man round robin bracket. Evan Kuhn and Evan Frana finished 1-2 in third place and Oliver Riehl finished in fourth place.
