On December 20th, the Jag grapplers managed to partake in a quad with Emmetsburg, South Hamilton, and the host school East Sac County. With December weather not cooperating with the wrestling schedule, this was the first time since opening night the Jags were able to compete in a dual meet. Unfortunately, the Jags limped into Christmas break dropping all three duals. The Jags opened with a tough Emmetsburg team losing 68-12, in the second dual, the hosts, East Sac pulled out a 48-30 win, and in the final dual the outcome wasn't determined until the final match at 220 with the Hawks winning the match 9-4 against Sophomore Nate Graves and winning the dual 39-36. 

Hopefully, Christmas Break allows our guys to heal and get prepared for the stretch run in January and February. We are hoping to get everyone in the line up after break and possibly cover an empty weight or two. 

Caelan Oakes-Sudhish and Kaden Holder went 3-0 for the night; Collin Johnson and Ryan Wicklein. finished 2-1 while Grant Smith and Nate Graves finished with one win. Kyle Johnson went 0-3 wrestling quality opponents. Oliver Riehl filled in winning one match as well as newcomer Brodey Laughman who dropped his match.
