The Jaguar wrestling team finished their first part of the season at Emmetsburg, December 19th with the E-Hawks, the Hawks of South Hamilton, and Raiders of East Sac County. The Jags dropped the three duals but showed progress as the young team battled in each dual. The line up was without Sr. !38 pounder Kaden Holder who was sitting out nursing some injuries. Freshman Nevein Larson stepped up a weight class to fill in, winning a match against South Hamilton finishing 1-2 for the night. Evan Kuhn, Colin Johnson, Kyeo Augustine, and Grant Smith finished 2-1. Freshman Kyle Eastman and Evan Frana each notched a win also going 1-2; Oliver Riehl and Jayden Johnson battled hard finishing 0-3. 

"Our guys took a small step forward Tuesday. They battled harder on bottom trying to escape and fighting off pinning combinations. Sophomore Coling Johnson had a good night, incorporating some new pinning combinations against his East Sac opponent, which was good to see."

The Jags lost 42-24 to South Hamilton, 69-6 to Emmetsburg, and 42-30 to East Sac.
