@Clarion-Goldfield Dows 4-17-2023: The Jags traveled to Clarmond

Country Club for a dual meet. The Jaguars were defeated 182-197.

Hane Sorenson and Caden Konecne led the Jags with 47. Kaden Holder

shot 51 and Elias Field 52. Will Comp posted 53 and Cale VanSickle 58.

JV team scores were SEV 226 and Clarion 223. Johnny Gregory led the

JV with 50. Maverick Dorman shot 57, Tyler Jondle 58 and Kyle

Johnson 61. Drew Corell shot 62 and Spencer Suchan 63. Coach Blunk

commented “we struggled today. The consistency just wasn’t there.

Our scores were all over the place. We’d have a few good holes then

make a big number. The course was challenging but the scores we

posted just weren’t where they can be or should be. We’ve scored

much better than today but it just didn’t happen tonight. The season

is going by quickly. We need to be more consistent and avoid the big

numbers. We just need to keep working in practice and stay

confident.” The Jaguars travel to Manson Thursday, April 20.
