@Lakeside Municipal Golf Course, Fort Dodge 4/29/2024:
The Jaguars finished 6th in the twelve team 18-hole conference tournament, playing in some 25 mph gusts of wind and low-to-mid 50-degree temperatures in mostly cloudy conditions. Karson Roper led the Jaguars with a team low of 90 after a full 18-hole round. Hane Sorenson and Will Comp tied with 92. Drew Temple rounded out the scoring for the Jaguars with 100. Johnny Gregory carded a 106 and Hayden Butrick a 114.
Coach Dahlstrom commented “the weather was definitely a challenge, but everyone had to face the same conditions. And the rain as of late slowed down the greens quite a bit since playing here back on April 14 th . Some of the team scores were pretty solid, and we just need to find that rhythm again; the guys know they can and I feel confident we will in time for Sectionals a week from Wednesday, when we travel to Carroll Country Club on May 8 th . There are some individual goals still out there that we can reach. Some great weather
could really help strengthen our mindsets, and perseverance is always good.”
