5/4/2022 Twin Lakes Conference Tournament @Lakeside Fort Dodge:

The Jaguars competed in 12 team 18-hole conference play finishing 7th. Team totals were East Sac 448, West Bend Mallard 424, Sioux Central 417, Manson Northwest Webster 384, Storm Lake St. Mary’s 377, Southeast Valley 376, GTRA 362, South Central Calhoun 353, Newell Fonda 350, Alta Aurelia 348, Pocahontas 347 and Emmetsburg 330. Elias Field led the Jags at 91. Will Comp shot 92, Carson Suchan 96 and Caden Konecne 97. Coach Blunk commented “we struggled putting, lots of 3 putts. That’s been our nemesis the past few meets. It’s something we need to continue to focus on. Confidence in putting is important. Hopefully we will get that straightened out.” The Jags have a conference quad at South Central Calhoun Thursday and Sectionals at Jewell Wednesday, May 11.

5/5/2022 @Lake City:

The Jaguars finished 2nd in a triangular with a team total 197. Newell Fonda finished 1st at 166. Sioux Central finished 3rd at 223. Will Comp led the Jaguars with 46. Elias Field shot 49, Will Halligan 50 and Caden Konecne shot 52. Carson Suchan shot 53 and Max Miller 54. JV Team totals were Newell Fonda 204, SEV 216 and Sioux Central 286. Caden Larson anchored the JV at 49 and Spencer Suchan shot 53. Hane Sorenson and Maverick Dorman shot 57. Brogen Skoglund 58 and Caden Kaltschnee 69. Coach Blunk commented “we can play better than we did today. We’ve had a tough time with our putting but then string together some good, consistent holes. Varsity and JV both finished 5-6 in the conference and have shown improvement. It was a short season outside wise for everyone. I’m hoping the guys get out and practice /play over the summer. Anytime they can get out to the course will help.” The JV season is completed. Varsity has sectionals Wednesday, May 11 at Jewell Golf and Country Club.
