@Newell vs Newell Fonda, Sioux Central 5-4-2023: The Jags finished 2^nd at Newell Golf Course with a team total 177. Newell shot 163 and Sioux Central 193. The Jags were led by Hane Sorenson with a career best 40. Will Comp shot 44 and Caden Konecne 45. Elias Field shot 48, Cale VanSickle 49 and Spencer Suchan 51. The JV also finished 2^nd with a season best team total 204. Tyler Jondle led the JV with a career best 46. Maverick Dorman shot 51, Drew Corell 53 and Johnny Gregory at 54. Coach Blunk commented “we had a beautiful day to play today. Our putting was not the best but we played OK. Some of the guys played the best round so far in a meet so that’s a positive. The JV finished the season on a high note today with the lowest team score of the season. I am proud the way they’ve steadily improved in the short season. If they put in some time on the practice green and on the course this summer, they will continue to improve.” The Jaguars travel to Lake Panorama National on Tuesday, May 9 for 18 hole Sectionals.
