The Jaguars’ Boys Golf team hosted East Sac in Dayton on Tuesday, April 29^th. With a beautiful night and preferred weather conditions, SV won the duel by the score of 178-199.  This was the first meet held in Dayton this season for SV.

           Senior Will Comp earned meet medalist honors with the low score of the night, a 42. Comp made birdies on hole 1 and hole 6 through his round. Senior Brady Hanson and Freshmen Dawson Tuel both tied for runner-up honors with a 45. Tuel birdied his last hole (hole 1), while Hanson carded a nice birdie on the challenging hole 3. 

           Karson Roper finished his round with a 46, closing out the Jaguar scoring at the Varsity level. Linkin Roper (55) and Hayden Butrick (56) also competed in the meet. East Sac County was led by Kayson Schroeder and his 48 score. 

           The JV team for SV also shot 199, led by Owen Pudenz (48) and Declan McGuire (49). Colton Haug added a 50, and Drew Temple with a 52. Benson Konecne carded a 55. The JV team for East Sac did not fill a full team. 

           The Jaguars return to Dayton on both Thursday and Friday later this week, hopefully improving their scores and ball placement with more experience on the challenging Par-36 course.
