@Aurelia 4-28-2022: The SEV boys finished second in a triangular vs. Alta-Aurelia and Storm Lake St. Mary’s. The Jags and AA both shot a team total 184. Storm Lake shot 189. With the tie at team total you go to the 5th score which was also a tie. Next you go to the 6th score with AA having the better score and awarded the win. Elias Field led the Jags earning runner up medalist with 43. Carson Suchan shot 46, Caden Konecne 47 and Will Halligan 48. Will Comp shot 49 and Caden Larson 62. Hane Sorenson led the JV with 48. Maverick Dorman shot 52, Max Miller 53 and Spencer Suchan 59. Cole Lundgren shot 64. JV team totals were AA 192, SEV 212 and South Central Calhoun 218. Coach Blunk commented “we played decent but we didn’t putt very well and just made some mistakes here and there. We’re getting smarter with our play and more consistent, we just need to keep working on minimizing our mistakes.”  

@Dayton SEV 5 Team Invite 4-29-2022: The Jaguar boys hosted Greene County, Ogden, Manson Northwest Webster and Glidden Ralston. The Jaguar team earned 2nd place medals getting edged by Greene County 198 to 199. Ogden shot 205, MNW 218 and Glidden Ralston 237. Will Comp and Caden Konecne tied for 5th overall at 49. Will received the 5th place individual medal with a card back. Will Halligan finished 7th with 50. Elias Field and Caden Larson tied for 9th at 51. Hane Sorenson finished 18th with 57. Coach Blunk commented “it was a tough night to play with rain and wind. We were fortunate to complete the meet. Again, one shot better and we win the meet but we just didn’t get it done. We are hitting some good shots, just coming up short with too many three putts and poor chips at bad times.” The Jaguars have the 18-hole conference tournament Monday at Lakeside, Fort Dodge then finish up conference play vs. Sioux Central and Newell Fonda at Lake City on Thursday.
