The 8th grade Jaguars faced MNW on September 11 to start their seasons in a six-set matchup full of effort and determination. The girls came out strong in Game 1, winning convincingly 21-9. MNW, however, responded and edged out the Jaguars in a tight Game 2, 19-21.

From there, MNW carried the momentum, taking the next four games with scores of 16-21, 9-21, 9-21, and 12-21. While the Jaguars weren’t able to reclaim the lead, they showed great hustle, teamwork, and energy throughout the contest.
