8th Grade Volleyball vs Kuemper
The 8th grade volleyball team faced a tough challenge on the court against Carroll Kuemper, playing a total of nine games throughout the evening. While the girls came up short in the win column, dropping all nine contests, the effort and determination they displayed told a much different story than the scoreboard. The scores for the games were:
A Team:17-25,9-25,7-15
B Team: 7-25, 10-25, 9-15
C Team: 21-25,16-25, 9-15
Each match highlighted the team’s progress, with players showing stronger serves, better communication, and more consistent play than earlier in the season. The girls continue to identify both their strengths and areas for improvement, and they are putting in the hard work to grow as a team.
Coach Hilton praised the group for their perseverance and dedication, noting that the true measure of their success is in the strides they make each week. “I couldn’t be more proud of how hard these girls are working,” Coach Hilton said. “They’re improving every time they step on the court.”
With continued effort and focus, the 8th grade team looks forward to turning their hard work into future victories.
