The 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams have finished their first two competitions of the year. On September 12th, the 7th grade team finished with a 1-3 record against the Cougars of Manson-Northwest Webster, while the 8th graders finished with a 3-3 split in the evening.  

On September 16th, the Jags traveled to Coon Rapids Bayard to face the Crusaders. The 7th grade team played hard but dropped the match 1-2, while the 8th grade Jags won a tough 3rd set to finish the night with a 2-1 win. Both teams will be in action against the Titans of SCC on Thursday, September in Rockwell City.

The SV jags 8th grade volleyball team secured a victory over South Central Calhoun winning 4 of 6 sets on Thursday 9/19 at Rockwell City. The 8th grade A team dominated the court winning all 3 seats with scores of 25-17, 25-13, & 25-15. The 8th grade B fought hard and pulled a win on the 3rd and final set of the evening. Scores for their 3 sets were 23-25, 17-25, & 25-23. 

The SV jags 7th grade team battled hard but unfortunately were unable to take home the win. Scores of the 7th grade A team sets were 23-25, 19-25, & 23-25. The 7th grade B team secured 1 of 3 sets with scores of 15-25, 27-15, & 22-25. The girls will all be back in action at home on Monday Sep 23rd vs Kuemper Catholic @ 4:15 pm.
