The Southeast Valley Middle school volleyball team opened their season in Manson on Thursday night (9/7). The Jaguars were eager and ready to take on the Cougars. Unfortunately, the Jaguars could quite shake all of the first game jitters; both the 7th and 8th grade squads fell to the Cougars from Manson Northwest Webster by a score of 1-3. Despite the score on the scoreboard, the Jags saw momentum build in each of the matches and didn't give up without a fight! The junior high volleyball team will have a quick turn around and will bounce back on Monday (9/11) following homecoming against Coon Rapids Bayard in Burnside. Seventh grade starts at 4 o'clock followed by 8th grade.
