Jaguar 8th Grade Girls Show Grit Against South Central Calhoun
On Thursday, September 18, the 8th grade Jaguar girls faced South Central Calhoun in a competitive volleyball matchup. The game was packed with close sets, ending with scores of 15-11, 15-17, 15-17, 15-17, 6-15, and 8-15.
The Jaguars started strong, taking the first set, and battled through three nail-biting rounds that went into extra points. Despite dropping the final sets, the girls played with resilience and heart throughout the match.
8th Grade Jaguar Girls Battle to a Tie Against Coon Rapids
On Monday, September 15, the 8th grade Jaguar girls took on Coon Rapids in an exciting volleyball matchup that ended in a tie. The teams traded momentum throughout the evening with final set scores of 15-12, 15-10, 15-12, 3-15, 12-15, and 8-15.
The Jaguars came out strong, winning the first three sets before Coon Rapids rallied back to even the match. Despite the tough competition, the girls showed determination and teamwork on the court.
Coach Hilton praised the players for their effort, saying, “The girls are pushing themselves and having great attitudes.”
