SV Girls' Track Compete at Lake City
The Girls track team had a great night of running at Lake City. The Girls placed 4th out of 10 teams and set a lot of new personal times throughout the night.
Leah Mills had a new personal best throw in the shot put with a throw of 30-00.00 and placed 6th
The Sprint Med placed 2nd with a time of 1:59.57 with Mae Sercy, Madelyn Farely, Avrie Hanson and Camryn Lane. This same 4 girls tied for 2nd in the 4x100
Ruby Stimpson placed 4th in the 3000
The Distance Med placed 3rd with a time of 5:19.25 with Breanne Showers, Devynn Wilson, Addi Lundquist and Emily Wilson
Camryn Lane placed 2nd in the Open 400 with a time of 1:03.27. This also set a new school record. Camryn and the coaches were very happy about this as Camryn has been working hard over the years to break it and she finally achieved her goal.
Mae Sercy continued her success in the 100 Hurdles by placing 2nd with a time of 17.91
Avrie Hanson placed 4th in the 200 with a time of 28.71
Katie Field placed 4th in the 1500 with a time of 6:22.90
The girls have continued to work hard. There are two weeks of regular season track left. So the goal is to run the best times by Districts and see if we can get any events to State.
