Congratulations to Shelby Mills who placed 13th in the Discus at State and Addi Hindt placed 23rd in the 100 Hurdles at State. Both girls would have liked to place higher but both girls had outstanding seasons and should be very proud of what they accomplished. There are192 girls in Class 2A that have the chance to make it to state in each event so to be in the top 24 is very special and a great opportunity. Shelby will be continuing her track career at BV next year and Addi is a Sophomore so now that she got a taste of state, that will help push her in the offseason training to get back there next year.

Coach Swieter was very happy with the results of this track season and would also like to thank Coach Tonya Harrison and Coach Jim Duncan for all they did to help make this a successful season. Both do an outstanding job working with the girls getting them ready to compete each and every meet.
