The Southeast Valley JH Football team opened their season at Carroll Kuemper Thursday night. The 8th Grade started with the first game of the night and suffered a heartbreaking 12-16 defeat on a last second 20 yd pass with 1 second on the clock. Logan Jaeschke had a great night on the ground with a 2 yd rushing touchdown in the 2nd and a 60 yd run in the third quarter. This is a great group of young men who will work harder and learn from this and clean some things up and have a very successful season.  

The 7th grade dropped a 0-22 contest to the Knights. The Jags were unable to get on the scoreboard however there were bright spots in the game. Keelan Wellman had an outstanding night on the defensive side of the ball making several tackles. Jacob Paterson and Wyatt Blair each had a fumble recovery on the night. This is also a good group of young men that will improve throughout the season.
