The Southeast Valley Jaguars JH football team hosted the Titans from SCC Tuesday night. The 7th grade dropped a 16 to 6 contest to the Titans. Conner Rentz had a pick six for the only score of the night for the Jaguars. Some positives of the night was the linebacker play of Deagan Brandel and Keelan Wellman and the hard running by the duo of Landon Vote and Dawson Tuel. The Jags also received solid line play by the duo of Korbin Spangler and Josh Martens. The 7th grade is now 2-2 on the season.

Despite falling behind 8 to 0 to a strong Titan Team, the 8th grade came away with a solid 20-8 victory over the Titans. Highlights of the night was Quarterback Casey Hanson with TD runs of 65 yds and 20 yds, Hanson also had a 45 yd TD pass to Logan Jasechke who had an outstanding run after the catch. Wyatt Goodpaster had a good night running the ball with a 2 pt conversion play on top of several good runs on the night. Special teams was also big on the night with outstanding kickoffs by Spencer Peterson and a good onside kick recovery by Tim Stewart. The Offensive Line of Hayden Greene, Trevyn Anderson, Hayden Butrick, Kyle Eastman, Ian Brunner and Karson Roper dominated the second half pushing the Titans back. The 8th grade is now 3-1 on the season.
