On Monday, December 2nd, the 7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams hosted the Mustangs from Newell-Fonda. The 7th graders got the night started with a tough 47-13 loss to a good Mustangs team. The Jags were led in scoring by Aubree Richardson's 5 points. Grace Kauffman contributed 4 points, while Tana Harrison chipped in 3 and Kensely Cox had 1 point.  

The 8th grade Jags finished the twinbill with a 48-10 loss to the talented Mustang team. The Jags were led in scoring by Karley Rae Smith's 4 points. Goldie Davis, Farrah Tuel and Bella Smith each contributed 2 points to the 8th grade cause.  Coach McCloud is quoted as saying, "Tough night for us. Newell-Fonda is a great program with outstanding players. We knew playing them would be tough. Now we refocus and try to get better for the rest of the season."

The Jags are next on the road to face the Bulldogs of Ogden on Tuesday, December 3rd.
