The Southeast Valley junior high girls basketball team hosted the Titians from South Central Calhoun on Tuesday after traveling to Woodward Granger Monday night.

The Jaguars fell short of two wins on Monday, losing to the Hawks in both 7th and 8th grade contests.

Tuesday night, things turned around for the Jags when SCC came to Burnside.

7th grade tipped off first and defeated the Titans by a score of 44-8. All nine members of the seventh grade team contributed to the team win. The 8th grade team fell to a tough and talented Titan group, but they played through adversity and fought to the end.

After this weeks contests the 7th grade squad boasts a record of four wins and two losses and the eighth graders sit with one win and five losses.
