Southeast Valley junior high girls basketball started their season on a high note this week with both 7th and 8th grade teams defeating Madrid on Monday (11/15) in Burnside. The 7th graders defeated the Tigers 21-18 and the 8th graders held on to win a defensive battle by a score of 15-13. 

The girls had a quick turnaround and played their second game of the season on Thursday (11/17) at Greene County. The seventh grade team came out with a dominating win against the Rams winning by a score of 46-22. The 8th grade team got their first loss of the season, after a tough offensive night losing 4-21. 

The junior high girls team will play again on back-to-back nights November 28th and November 29th against Newell Fonda (Burnside) and Ogden (@Ogden).
