SV Jr. High Boys Win in the Rain
Southeast Valley Boys Jr. High Track team traveled to Manson in the rain Friday, May 5th. Even in wet conditions, the Jaguars set the track on fire, running down another team victory! The Jaguar boys improved to 5-0 on the season. The Jags came to compete once again, recording many PR’s and set two new Junior High Boys Track records. Logan Jaeschke set a new record in the 100 meter dash, clocking 12.08. The Sprint Medley Relay team of Wyatt Goodpaster, Kolton Ollinger, Bryce Harrison, and Owen Nuss set a new record, clocking 1:51.13.
“These young Jaguars are always willing to step up and try new things. They are continually supportive of each other and it completely reflects in their team vibe! They are an amazing group of young people!” coach Amber Sorenson.
Junior High track returns to action on May 9th at Newell-Fonda, and then finishes the season with the Twin Lakes Conference Meet, May 12th in Pocahontas.

Boys Run, Like the Wind Blows
Southeast Valley Junior High Boys Track team competed in Rockwell City Monday, May 1st. Even the intense wind conditions could not hold this young group of Jaguars back, as they brought home another 1st place team finish. The entire team gave everything they had against the wind and found a way to compete and continue to improve, as a team and individually. The unfavorable conditions didn’t stop the Shuttle Hurdle team of Wyatt Goodpaster, Declan McGuire, Logan Jaeschke, Casey Hanson, who set a new Junior High Boys Track record of 1:05.12.
