The Southeast Valley Junior High Boys Track Team competed in their first track meet of the 2023 season Monday, April 10th. The Jaguars traveled to Ogden, and finished 1st overall as a team! The young Jags took advantage of the nice weather and showed up for every event. The effort was obvious and the team gained knowledge and starting points for them to build upon.

Logan Jaeschke left his mark on Ogden’s blue oval, claiming two Jaguar jr high track records in the high jump and the 400 meter dash, as well as setting a Gary Paulsen Relays meet record in the 400 meter dash, clocking 56.48. Casey Hanson lit up the track in the 200 hurdles to set a new Jaguar jr high record, recording 27.76.

The Jaguars return to action, Tuesday, April 18th, hosting their home meet in Burnside at 4:30.
