JH Softball Opens the Season
Jaguars Travel to Fonda
The Jr. High Jaguar softball team headed to Fonda June 5th for their first game of the season where the 7th and 8th grade teams lost 2-11. Despite the losses, there has been a lot of improvement already this season. The Jaguars are looking forward to many more games and loads of continued progress on the field
Jaguars Travel to Jefferson
The Jaguar Junior High Softball teams took to the field on June 6th in Jefferson to face off against Greene County, and both teams gave it their best.
The 8th-grade squad battled through a tough game and showed great determination, ultimately falling 3-11. Despite the score, the girls displayed solid at-bats and flashes of great defensive plays. The experience gained in this matchup will only help them grow stronger as the season continues.
Meanwhile, the 7th-grade team came out swinging and secured a big 15-3 victory! Their bats were hot, their defense was sharp, and their enthusiasm was contagious. The team’s hustle and positive attitude led to an all-around team win.
Both teams continue to make great strides in developing their softball skills and game knowledge. With each game and every practice, the Jaguars are learning, improving, and building confidence.
