Jaguars Softball Wraps Up Busy Week with Strong Performances
Monday, June 9 – The week opened on the road with a tough matchup against the Ogden Bulldogs. Both the 7th and 8th grade teams battled hard but came up short. The 8th graders fought valiantly but ultimately fell 3-8. The 7th grade squad showed grit but were edged out 4-10 by a solid Ogden team.
Wednesday, June 11 – Spirits were high as the Jaguars hosted their first home games of the season against South Central Calhoun. The home-field advantage came through in a big way, with both the 7th and 8th grade teams dominating their matchups. The Jaguars' bats were alive and defense sharp as they rolled to convincing victories in both games.
Thursday, June 12 – The Jaguars remained at home to take on the Madrid Tigers. The 7th graders faced a tough challenge going up against Madrid’s A team and fell 4-19. However, the 8th grade team rose to the occasion against Madrid’s B squad, pulling off a thrilling 9-8 win in a back-and-forth contest.
Friday, June 13 – The Jaguars closed out the week in style with a double win against Manson Northwest Webster. The 8th grade game featured "electrifying bats" in an exciting 8-7 victory. The 7th graders capped the week with a commanding 14-3 win, showcasing great teamwork and energy.
With a mix of tough lessons and impressive wins, the Jaguars continue to grow and show promise as they push through the heart of their season.
