Sac City, Iowa - The Southeast Valley middle school track teams competed in the East Sac Relays on Tuesday, April 26th after being postponed from the previous day.      

Team standings for the meet were OABCIG 108, Alta/Aurelia 95, East Sac 91, Pocahontas 80, Ridgeview 77, SCC 72, SE Valley 35..    

Individual point earners for the Southeast Valley Girls Track team were Dani Bethal 6th in the shot put 25’5”. Camryn Lane 1st in the 100 m. dash 13.25. Madelyn Farley 4th in the 200 m. dash 31.16.  

Relay point earners were Mylee Swanson, Ruby Stimpson, Devin Wilson, Peterson 5th in the 4x800 with a time of 12:28.47; Camryn Lane, Riley Carlson, Mylee Swanson, Madelyn Farley 2nd in the 4x200 m. relay 2:06.54; Camryn Lane, Ileah Taylor, Devin Wilson, Madelyn Farley 2nd in the 4x100 m. relay 58.32.

“The weather made the meet a great day to have a meet. We had some bright moments that went along with the weather. Camryn definitely dug deep to win the 100. Madelyn Farley cut time off her 200 to place fourth. We also had two relays that competed well considering that it was the second meet of the year. There were several other athletes who improved their marks in several different events. Proud of the growth the girls keep making .” Coach Mills
