Sioux Rapids, Iowa - The Southeast Valley middle school track teams competed in the Twin Lake Conference track meet on Friday, May 13tth..

Individual point earners for the Southeast Valley Girls Track team were Camryn Lane 3rd in the 100 m. dash with a time of 13.4 and 3rd in the 200 m. dash with a time of 28.84.  Brooke Peterson 8th in the 1500 m. run with a time of 6:04.5.  Madelyn Farley 5th in the 200 m. hurdles with a time of 33.79. Danielle Bethal 8th in the discus with a throw of 69’3”. 

Relay point earners was the 4x100 m. relay team of Mae Searcy, Alex Geoders,

Devyn Wilson and Madelyn Farley placed 6th with a time of 59.93.  4x200 m. relay team of Camryn Lane, Riley Carlson, Devyn Wilson, Madelyn Farley placed 2nd with a time of 2:03.76.  4x800 m. relay team of Mylee Swanson, Devyn Wilson, Avrie Hanson, Brooke Peterson placed 4th with a time of 12:10.09.

“Going into the track season we always emphasize that we are competing to better our times, jumps, and throws from the beginning of the season to the end.  Along with the girls place in the meet we also had 9 bests in individual and relay events.  The team is proud of our accomplishments this year.  ” Coach Mills
