A Message From Coach Swieter

Southeast Valley’s Football Coach, Mike Swieter, would like to thank everyone for their support this season. The fans showed great support all season and it was always great when the boys got to do their cheer with them after each win.
There are so many people who take time out of their lives to help the football program and it is very much appreciated.
He would like to thank his coaching staff of Jeff Kruse, Mark Graves, Mitch Murphy and Kyle Johnson and their families,
as well as his wife, Mindy, for the time and dedication to this program. Nobody except other coaches understand the time
spent outside of school and practice to have a successful program and all of our coaches give time out of their lives to
better the football team. Keaton Martin and Aaron Swieter help Volunteer and we are also very thankful for all the time
they have put in also.

Swieter would also like to express his sincere appreciation to Brad Lane for his years of volunteering to help the team.
Brad has been the team statistician for 24 years. Greg Hiesterman was in his 3rd year and did a great job videotaping the
Friday night games. Denis Swieter did tackles on Friday nights and Coltan Kamp provided music on our home games.
Megan Davis, our athletic trainer, spends hours and hours helping get our kids back on the field.
There are so many more people that have given their time and talents to the SV Football Program and to all of you,
Coach Swieter extends his heartfelt appreciation.

Coach Swieter also wanted to have a special thanks to Jeff Kruse for the 17 years they have coached together. Coach
Kruse will be retiring after this school year. We won 104 games together and averaged 6 wins a season. Over that time
we had 6 District Championships and 10 years in the playoffs. I appreciate everything you have done and all the work
you have put into this program. Coach I wish you the very best of luck and can not thank you enough for all you have
helped me with over the years.
