Finishing the sixth week of the season, the girls are 8-8 overall and will play Saturday, September 28th at the first annual Bishop Garrigan Volleyball Tournament in Algona.

The girls opened the week defeating the Panthers of Saint Mary of Storm Lake by the scores of 25-19, 25-19, and 25-16.  Delaney Conrad led the team at the serving line going 26 for 26 with one ace serve.  Other girls perfect behind the line were Allison Bethel, Emily Jaeschke, and Kenzie Crampton.  The team served at 95.7% efficiency.  Kirsten Fisher led the team with 13 kills followed by Jaynie Ferrari with ten.  Conrad added seven while Crampton and Haylee Welter having one each.  Conrad and Ferrari led the team with saves.  Emily Jaeschke had 24 assists for the night while Kenzie Crampton had three.

The girls competed at Lake City in a Twin Lakes Conference triangular with Pocahontas Area (PAC) and South Central Calhoun (SCC).  The girls split with defeating PAC by the scores of 25-15, 25-10, 25-18.  In the last match of the night, the girls lost to the Titans of SCC by the scores of 16-25, 23-25, and 18-25. 

The girls played one of their better matches of season against PAC.  They served at 95.7% efficiency with Conrad, Jaeschke, Crampton, and Bethel perfect behind the serving line.  Chloe Hicks had three ace serves while Ferrari had two.  Ferrari led the team with 11 kills followed by Fisher who had ten.  Conrad added nine kills, Crampton had three and Chloe Hicks had two.  Fisher also had two solo blocks and one assist block. Crampton, Conrad, Ferrari and Hicks each had one solo block.   Jaeschke had 22 assists during the match.  Chloe Hicks had five assists and Crampton had three.

The girls came out strong in a couple games against the Titans but then started having problems in passing and executing their offense.  The girls did serve at 96% with Crampton, Conrad, Jaeschke, Ferrari, and Bethel perfect behind the serving line.  Chloe Hicks had two ace serves while Crampton and Ferrari each had one.  Conrad led the team with seven kills.  Fisher had six, Ferrari had four, Hicks had three, Crampton had two and Jaeschke had one.  Jaeschke had 17 assists for the match.  Conrad, Fisher, and Ferrari each had two solo blocks.
