Jaguar Girls Beat Alta/Aurelia

Southeast Valley celebrates the New Year with a “W”. The Jaguars hosted Alta/Aurelia Friday, January 4th in the high school gymnasium. Starting the 2019 Year off right, with a 38-29 win. The girls held A-A to ten offensive points in the first half.

Morgan Castenson led the Jaguar offense with her first 10 points of the New Year. Castenson muscled down 6 boards, dished an impressive 5 assists, and hustled 4 steals on the defensive end. Mady Jaeschke and Jaynie Ferrari pounded out 7 points apiece for the Jags. M. Jaeschke owned the boards on her home court, recording 10 rebounds. Kenzie Crampton added 5 points. Kasey Lundberg chipped in 4 points, and dished 4 assists to help fuel the Jags.  Viatris Scott and Emily Jaeschke connected on a bucket to finish with 2 points apiece. Crampton, Ferrari, and M Jaeschke protected the paint, recording a combined effort of 8 steals. Chloe Hicks took a trip to the free-throw line and ended the contest with 1 point.
