Jaguars Travel to SCC

The Southeast Valley Varsity Girls basketball team traveled to Rockwell City, Monday December 10th, to face South Central Calhoun. Even though the Jaguar intensity seemed to stun the Titans, the Jags dropped the contest 38-54. Trailing 7-15 at the end of the first quarter, the Jaguars went into half-time behind 16-26. The third quarter ended in the Titans favor 27-43.

 Southeast Valley was led in scoring by Morgan Castenson with 11 points, including three shots from behind the arch. Castenson also dished out 2 assists. Mady Jaeschke brought 8 point to the Jag offense and 3 steals on defense. Kenzie Crampton produced 6 points and grabbed 5 rebounds for the Jags. Jaynie Ferrari and Emily Jaeschke added 4 points apiece. Ferrari led on the boards, collecting 8 for the Jags and dished out 3 assists. E Jaeschke ripped down 5 boards for the Jags. Cassi Berglund chipped in 3 points for the Jaguar offense. Kasey Lundberg connected on two throws for the Jags to end the contest with 2 points. Lundberg secured 4 rebounds and recorded 3 steals on the defensive end.
